1983 SG-310 Articulated (5101-51??)
These are Metro's original artics, or buses with a bend in the middle. They have destination signs that are really rotted out and many do not have working A/C units. There is a heavy exhaust smell inside these buses, which is probably due to age. Unlike most artics, the engine is under the tractor (front) section of the bus. These buses have upholstered red seats, similar to the ones found on the New Look buses. Some have been repainted into the new blue color scheme. As far as I know, only 33 remain in service. |
